All my life I
was in the
Boston Public
School
system,
around a
mixture of
nationalities,
but mostly
people of
color was the
majority.

Entering Marblehead
High School in the 9th
grade was a major
culture shock.
The script was flipped and I was now a part of the minority.  I
didn't want to be in school at all.
I didn't like the people or the environment.
I tried my hardest to leave the school and get back into Boston!
